Why show the Gray's plate if the stellate ganglion isn't even shown? :( Savonnn (talk) 21:36, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
The stellate ganglion is shown, just not labeled. It's at the top of the picture, and is constituted from the fusion of the inferior cervical ganglion, and first thoracic ganglion. It would indeed be helpful to add in a caption. Pollira (talk) 05:12, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
PTSD edit
It would be nice to add in a sentence on usage of stellate ganglion block in PTSD. Although not proven effective, it seems to be a common treatment, at least in military medicine. Pollira (talk) 05:13, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
Stellate ganglion block edit
Not totally on board with the statement that a block "shows great potential as a means of reducing the number of hot flushes and night awakenings suffered by breast cancer survivors and women experiencing extreme menopause".
Citation (now dead) points to the Lancet (presumably this article, in Lancet Oncology), but a more recent literature review casts some doubt on the efficacy technique. Thoughts? rmacd (talk) 22:37, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
