Ethnicity

Lecture?

It's hard to see how someone of such a young age whose only claim to public presence is being winner of a beauty pageant could be qualified to ...spend her year-long reign traveling the world to lecture on humanitarian issues.... Removal of flag paragraph

In this edit, the following was removed.

7-star Flag of Venezuela, in use 1930–2006.

During her final catwalk, she unveiled a Venezuelan flag with only seven stars. The display was seen by some as a protest against Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez, who had ordered the flag changed from seven to eight stars in 2006.

The comment was "rm, per WP:BLP, a statement about the political position of a living person cannot be based on an editorial piece". I haven't been able to find any such rule in the BLP guidelines, and even if there was, the paragraph does not assert a political position, only that some people perceived it that way. But more than that, it contained the referenced and undisputed fact that she waved the old flag. Does anybody have a reason that this fact should not be in the BLP?
