Further sources needed

In such a controversial issue the first thing is to establish who did / said what, when and where. Where conversations, letters and publications are concerned, full and attributed extracts are needed. So any help that anyone can provide will be extremely valuable.

Points on which further information with WP:RS would be particularly valuable:

• Date on which the original challenge was sent from the USA and arrived in England.
• Full text of the original challenge.
• Text of Staunton's offer to pay Morphy by telegraph, with date. etc.
• Text of Illustrated London News′ article "Arrival of Mr. Morphy" on 26 June 1858.
• Full text of Walker's article in Bell's Life in London on Sunday 22 August.
• Conversation(s) between Staunton & Murphy in Birmingham, Aug 1858.
• Date and full text of Morphy's letter to Fiske re funds and of Maurian's reply to Fiske.
• A better source for Morphy's open letter of 6 Oct, as the NY Times’ server is rather erratic.
• Full text of Lyttleton's comments, with date.
• Any other quotes from the slanging match, including after the cancellation.

proposal about alekhine-capablanca rematch controversy

There is a widely debated topic on chess history, it is not clear whether it is based on facts or rumours/speculations. the topic is: "Alekhine-Capablanca world championship rematch." Some believe Alekhine avoided Capablanca and some believe contrary, ALekhine gave him a chance but Capa did not use it. can wikipedia enlighten all of us on this matter? p.s: I am not good at wikipedia, I cant add references and e.t.c. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sir artur (talk • contribs) 15:00, 4 February 2016 (UTC)
