Was Mussolini King? edit

The article states "this convention was so strongly established that in 1925, Mussolini had to pass a law which specifically stated that he was not responsible to Parliament." Presumably Parliament did not share his view, or else Mussolini would not have had to pass a law. But this merely begs the question: if Parliament refused to act, how did Mussolini pass the law? This part of the article needs clarification.

@John Paul Parks: It is explained with the Acerbo Law, it allowed Mussolini to have more deputies than other parties. Temp0000002 (talk) 14:18, 6 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Subject Deputies edit

It is said in the main page that Deputies were required to be "Italian" subjects but the Article No.40 says they had to be "King's" subjects. Is there a contradiction? Temp0000002 (talk) 16:35, 7 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
