- ... that Shirley MacLaine (pictured) served as an usher at her brother Warren Beatty's political concert Together for McGovern, and he returned the favor at her political variety show Star-Spangled Women for McGovern? Source: NYT "celebrity ushers present included... Mr. Beatty's sister, Shirley MacLaine." and also Warren Beatty listed on poster as celebrity usher.

- New enough, long enough, policy tick, the hook content is good, interesting and sweet, QPQ all good. Image is clear and free so no issues. The only problem is the hook is too long. @Binksternet: just this and it should be all ready, thank you! VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 16:16, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review, Vincent60030. There is nothing specific written in the rules setting the hook length for multiple noms, but the general practice is to allow longer hooks for multis. The supplementary instructions say "Occasionally a very long multi-nomination hook (with more than 200 characters) will take up extra space, in which case the overall number of hooks in that particular update can be reduced to compensate." Three weeks ago, Yoninah said, "As this is a multiple nom, you can go over 200 characters" without saying how much over. So we must decide, you and I, whether 213 characters is too long for a double nom. I am certainly willing to trim the hook, but let's first talk about an appropriate hook length for multis, so I can aim for a target length. (The easiest solution occurs to me... We can remove the final "for McGovern" to make Star-Spangled Women, which is already one of the ways that people refer to the concert.) Binksternet (talk) 17:07, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- @Binksternet: the hook length is fine at 213 characters. Yoninah (talk) 17:10, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
- Ah a little oversight from me. Speedy good to go! VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 17:45, 19 August 2020 (UTC)
