The 2005 book by P V Bruyns Stapeliads of southern Africa and Madagascar should probably be cited. --Ott2 10:54, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Added this reference after confirming details with author. --Ott2 06:57, 16 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Europe has two species of stapeliads, Caralluma europea is found on Lampedusa (an island in the mediteranian). And Caralluma munbayana is the species growing on the southern iberic penninsula.

Misspelling!

edit

The tribe is Stapelieae. All tribes in botany end in "eae" (as is correctly indicated here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxonomic_rank), nothing ending in "iae" is a valid tribal name. I could go through and correct this in the text, but I don't know how to correct the name of the article! Paalexan (talk) 08:47, 5 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
