"Lubbock is a grease spot."

edit

Hahaha Oh man, that is classic. However you could also make argument that Amarillo is a grease spot. :) I remember those twisted signs. Never saw that one. Where is that sign locate at? --Anonymous Cow 03:29, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Actually I found that on another website. I'll add the link to the article. I have to admit that most of what I know of Stanley was from the film "The Plutonium Circus" and a "Texas Monthly" article from 1996. But I thought he deserved an article, at any rate. Gyrofrog 03:49, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)
...and I just found out that the traffic signs are collectively referred to as the "Dynamite Museum." I added this to the article. Gyrofrog 04:47, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Referenced by South Park?

edit

Anyone know if Stan Marsh from South Park was named after this person? His girlfriend is named Wendy too...

Actually, her name, according to the article, is really Gwendolyn and they just call her Wendy... depending on how long they've been calling her Wendy, it could be the other way around. Shivers talk 07:36, 14 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Helium Tycoon?

edit

The Cadillac Ranch page says that Stanley Marsh is a helium tycoon. Sounds interesting to me...

edit

A gallery of his street sign art can be found here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MorningSciFi (talkcontribs) 12:37, 12 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
