Mixed people edit

There were at least three people with Stanisław Warszycki. This article describes the middle one, I'll try to find information about the others, it seems at least some sources are confusing them.

First SW was born in the second half of 16th century and died in 1617. in 1587 he was old enough to be a deputy, so likely at least in his 20s. He was a member of a diplomatic mission to Muscovy in 1600. He held the offices of starost of Czersk, and of podskarbi koronny from 1610 to 1616 and was a competent official. He resigned from his office on 8 June 1616 and became the voivode of Podlasie. Son of Maciej Warszycki, łowczy of Łęczycka, and Anna z Romiszowskich. Died on 16 September 1617.[1]

The third SW held the title of Miecznik of Łęczyca, was born in the second half of 17th century and died in the first half of 18th.

One of them was the son of Andrzej Warszycki. Married twice: first to Izabela Przerembska, second to Teodora Bełżecka.

Another married Helena Wiśniowiecka and had a son, Jan Kazimierz Warszycki, and two daughters, Anna Helena and Teresa. I am assuming this is the current one, as most sources seem to repeat this info, but there is a possibility of error.

The current one became the castellan of Cracow in 1651. Likely another one had the title in 1648. Sources give his death either in 1680 or 1681 (15 Jan). One source notes he died 80 years old, one gives 1599.

Anon's question edit

Someone wrote with a who-knows in the article. Is this a real person or some ficitious article? There is no-ring of authenticity to this article. --Muthu
