This definition of standardised mortality rate is not correct. It should include standard population at least. 158.232.3.81 (talk) 13:58, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This definition missed out the notion of age in the standardisation. Perhaps merge with Age-standardized mortality rate? 11:53, 29 January 2011 (GMT)
