The actor Mark Harmon is cited as an example of a performer who used his middle name as a stage name to avoid confusion with other family members (in his case, his father, the sportscaster Tom Harmon.) But, Thomas Mark Harmon was known as Mark even before his acting career. He was somewhat famous as the starting quarterback for Top-20 UCLA football teams in 1972-1973. even though he never played professionally. Timothy Horrigan (talk) 17:59, 26 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
