Sahara Oval St George's → St George's Park — As per WP:NCCN. As indicated in the article itself, St George's Park is the commonly used name. See also Talk:2010 FIFA World Cup#Venue Names and Sponsorship for similar move discussions. Additionally, sponsorship may change at any time, invalidating the current name of the article. -- NJR_ZA (talk) 15:41, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose As I understand it, Sahara Oval is but one portion of St George's Park. I conducted a quick search, w/ a Google map overview, and I am of the rather firm opinion that it's a multi-use park. I see an Olympic sized swimming pool, tennis courts, walking trails, bowling greens and a number of other field types I can identify. Secondly, the article lacks any form of reference so it is difficult to judge common name, one way or the other. --Labattblueboy (talk) 16:20, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Sahara Oval St George's → St George's Park Cricket Ground — As can be seen at Talk:Sahara Oval St George's, I have previously requested this page to be moved to the commonly used name St George's Park. Unfortunately I did not have a strong enough arguement at the time, but I would like to request the move again for the following reasons:
- The sponsorship has changed and the grounds are now officially named Axxess DSL St Georges - "St George's Park undergoes name change". ESPN Cricket info. 2009-09-11. Retrieved 9 January 2010.
- Sponsorship can change often, at any time and people are not always aware of that fact. The official name was changed from Sahara ... to Axxess DSL... in September, but no-one realized this when I requested the last move in December.
- St George's Park is the commonly used name
- Move to St George's Park Cricket Ground rather than St George's Park to distinguich between the cricket ground and other facilities at St. George's as per Labattblueboy's comments on the last move request.
- I have added some references to the article pertaining to the many names the grounds go by.

- Support The sponsership from Sahara has ended, so the article should no longer have the title of Sahara Oval. The new sponsership is held by Axxess DSL.[1] Please move the article to St George's Park, or if you must, St George's Park Cricket Ground. Crazydude22 (talk) 11:59, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Support You've certainly done your homework this time around. Good catch on the change of sponsorship. My only issue with this one is St George's Park Cricket Ground is not the proper name, so the capitalization in 'Cricket Ground' may not be appropriate. So I would suggest St George's Park cricket ground but would be just as happy to support St George's Oval, St George's Park Oval or St George's Park cricket oval. St George's Oval appears to be the most common online but I will leave it to the nominator to make to call. --Labattblueboy (talk) 06:59, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Comment You are quite correct, St George's Oval might actually be the better option. I suggest we also create a redirect from St George's Park to St George's Oval until such time as an article about the greater St George's Park is created. --NJR_ZA (talk) 07:10, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- I had some free time, so I created St George's Park, Port Elizabeth to help out. St George's Park is now a disambiguation page, so redirecting St George's Park to whatever name is selected will not be possible.--Labattblueboy (talk) 16:06, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Comment I would prefer St George's Park cricket ground, but any move away from Sahara Oval would be great. Crazydude22 (talk) 08:19, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
