Notability concerns
editThough I am sure that this is a fine school, I am still concerned that it is not notable enough for an independent Wikipedia article, per WP:MUSIC. Is there any indication that the choir has received notice outside of the Boston area? Has it won any major awards, gone on tour? If so, sources on this would be appreciated. If not, I recommend merging the information in this article into some other article on Wikipedia, such as one of the Boston articles. --Elonka 20:54, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
I agree with you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Noneofyourbussiness696 (talk • contribs) 22:28, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think the press coverage documented in the references and the performances listed are sufficient to demonstrate notability. Chonak (talk) 00:44, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Please avoid puffery and promotional material
editWikipedia is not an advertising medium. (See WP:NOT.) It's intended to be an encyclopedia presenting verifiable information from independent published sources. I have cut out the section on "Auditions" because the material was not suitable for an encyclopedia. It was promotional in tone and was not supported by references from published sources. --Chonak (talk) 04:20, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
Please mention the former name somewhere
editIn the History section, it would be good to mention that the school was named Boston Archdiocesan Choir School from some-year to some-other-year. --Chonak (talk) 21:54, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
