Talk:St. Aidan's Cathedral

Missing links edit

I've nominated this article for speedy deletion as it seems to contain nothing which isn't in the article Enniscorthy#Saint_Aidan.27s_Cathedral, but in exploring around I've found:

If this article continues to exist, then the template should point to it - changing the redirect will have the desired effect and mop up various other lists etc too. There should also be a note at Enniscorthy#Saint_Aidan.27s_Cathedral to point to this article as the "main" article on the cathedral.

Churches much smaller than this have their own page. Most Cathedrals have their own page. This stub was a start and will be expanded later. So that paragraph in Enniscorthy should get a Main. History2007 (talk) 16:17, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
OK, let's go with the new article. I've re-directed the redirect. I've made a "main" link ... PROBLEM: it went red. Looking carefully, you've used the "typographic" apostrophe, a curly one, while WP:MOS specifies to use the straight one. I'll move the page. PamD (talk) 16:51, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

St / St. / Saint edit

What's the best title for the article? The cathedral website used "Saint Aidan's" and "St Aidan's"! I don't know whether there's a convention for names for churches/cathedrals, though looking at Category:Roman Catholic cathedral stubs shows varied practice! I've made redirects from the other versions. PamD (talk) 17:06, 26 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Whatever you prefer, I do not mind. History2007 (talk)
