Article quality edit

This article reads like an infomercial for sprouted bread. Maybe that's a little harsh but the text's main point seems to be to extol the virtues of sprouted bread. While there is a "Benefits" section, much of the section before it ("Sprouted Grain Bread"...what value this section title adds given that this is the topic of the article itself, I can't imagine) consists mainly of describing its benefits also. I really don't know if the benefits of sprouted bread are in any way controversial, however there are no supporting references to any science, and even if not controversial, the information could be presented in rather more objective fashion.

Also, their ought not be a "we" used here, as in the final paragraph of the "Essene Bread" section. Perhaps it ought to be reworded as "most contemporary westerners" or some such.

Some references to studies of wheat or gluten sensitive individuals being able to eat sprouted bread would be nice. I've heard plenty of anecdotal evidence to this fact but such a claim ought to be supported or described as anecdotal. --Ericjs (talk) 13:40, 21 January 2009 (UTC) IF SOMEOE IS ALERGIC TO GLUTEN WOULD THEY BE ALERGIC TO SPROUTED WHEAT?Reply

This article is terrible, it reads like an advertisement and cites internet articles for sources. It needs to be either deleted or rewritten entirely. 118.93.165.186 (talk) 03:52, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

The last paragraph of the second section reads especially like an advertisement as it talks a lot about health benefits. Perhaps we should make a new section specifically about health benefits or should we remove it entirely? EZpwnage (talk) 11:54, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

A new section is fine in principle, but there's not much content at present. Why do you want to remove it? It mentions the differences with refined grains, which is hardly 'especially like an advert'. Greenman (talk) 15:02, 28 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

First paragraph contradicts image caption edit

The first paragraph says sprouted bread is made from grain that sprouts before it is milled into flour. The image caption says "flourless". There seem to be two different meanings of "flour". oldrider (talk) 17:35, 24 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
