Demolition edit

Why were the remaining buildings demolished? Were they mostly wood or brick/stone? Is the debris still there? PhilUK (talk) 17:49, 9 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'm not entirely sure. I do know that the Utah Fuel Company tore them down while looking for coal in the area, but I'm not sure why. None of the structures remain; everything, including the debris, was salvaged except parts of the trestle. The UtahraptorTalk to me/Contributions 19:56, 9 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

History edit

In an extract from his autobiography George Storrs who built the town and the railroad, refers to Jesse Knight as his uncle. I can find no such relationship between them and I assume that Jesse must have been some kind of family friend.Optymystic (talk) 23:04, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Jesse Knight was affectionately called "Uncle" by most of the people who knew him. It was a nickname. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 03:23, 1 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
