The census counts 5.25% Hispanic/Latino. I don't have a written source, however, having lived in Splendora and attended school there, this number seems an underestimate to me. There are illegal Mexican residents who would not be on the census. I wonder if anyone has a source for such information. I have heard this is the case for Washington, D.C. as well, which has a lot of immigrants. 141.161.70.202 (talk) 23:37, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
