Citations for Books and Movies edit

Under "In Popular Culture" is the sentence, "A spile is utilized to obtain water in the novel Catching Fire (2009) and subsequent film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013).[citation needed]". I know for a fact that it's in the movie, because I am watching it, and came here to this article to find out about spiles after it was mentioned. So, how do I add a citation for a scene in a movie? In cases like these, surely the book and the movie are, themselves, the citation? If not, then it seems unlikely that the New York Times, or some other reliable source, are going to mention this piece of trivia, which would mean there is no reliable source for something that is an absolute fact. Do we put down the page number in the book and the timestamp in the movie? I want to fix this but I don't know how! Any help would be appreciated, thanks...

Just for the record, and so that I remember later (if it's suitable), the scene occurs at 01:32:30 in the movie. I am happy to go and find out the page number in the book too, if that is usable as the citation? FillsHerTease (talk) 07:13, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
