I am concerned that this article too closely follows the original texts given, one of which was not given as a citation, though clearly it was the original.

What would you change? That wouldn't change it from the statute? And is it plagiarism under applicable U.S. intellectual property/copyright law if it is in a U.S. statute, or is that a safe harbor from a plagiarism claim? Obsolete categorization

The treasury department now maintains a list, SPECIALLY DESIGNATED NATIONALS AND BLOCKED PERSONS, that has (apparently) replaced the 'Specially Designated Global Terrorist' list. Attempt to go to the preceding list, using the link on the Article page, and you will find it does not any longer exist.Haberstr (talk) 20:21, 7 April 2011 (UTC)

IDF

At the end of the basic list of organizations/entities categorized as terror orgs, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) was inserted randomly & crudely. The IDF is not a terrorist organization nor designated as such.

I reckon it was done with misguided or and dissimulated impulse.

Let this be a tiny – yet consequential – proof that Wikipedia will have to be curated of inserted (momentous backwash) misinformation, disinformation, and textual parsing that are demonstrably counter-productive to fact & truth; confirmed & established as such accordingly to up-to-date events, clauses, and specifications.

In regards to current events, why they are the way they are, bear the intergenerational clash (clash between generations in understanding the world) of a hard slog that's been compounded for decades and recent century at the very least, which cannot be contested by random impulses. Such establishments & institutions have their own ergonomics that have been meticulously exigent and exhaustively exact for such a long time now that, any ad-hoc moxie crammed disapproval influenced by obscure outlets – or by the mere lack of proficient knowledge – self-denunciates for obnoxious obscurity at best, pathological dissimulation & malevolence at worst.

Be better with yourself, understand the historicity that establishments & institutions maintain to these kinetic clashes in the world and, most importantly, understand why positive values are resilient to any attempts of evil submissions & underminings (eg. liberty & freedom of consequence to one's own being & avoiding consequence to others' being based on liberty is a demonstrable platform of unabated positive value; whereas false perception of liberty imposed is doing harm to yourself or and to others simply because you think that's liberty – the harm in the self-delusion of benefiting from that harm, in imperceptible ways you can fail to recognize them as such because of the ill-fated veil & inertia). When pathological operatives & actors take advantage of those positive values, twisting to lie, harm, and destroy, only to then gather support because of their direct & indirect coercive ways, then people who put liberty on a pedestal are innately legitimized to counter those pathological operatives & actors, and their willful supporters with such malleable conscious & lack of deterrence to evil. 86.120.215.223 (talk) 10:51, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
