Fair use rationale for Image:SPCorpLogo.jpg

edit

Image:SPCorpLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Glens

edit

The article claims they've been rebranding Glens stores to Family Fare, but one of them in Petosky, MI, has instead been converted to D&W in the last year. The second Glens in Petosky (there were two of them) apparently shut down and is now a Hobby Lobby. cite: http://www.petoskeynews.com/featured-pnr/petoskey-supermarket-s-name-changes-offerings-to-stay-same/article_1b436300-f653-11e3-b57a-0017a43b2370.html

Another one, visible from I-75 in northern MI, similarly has changed from Glens to D&W, though I'm not sure which city it's in. I want to say Gaylord, but I'm not positive. 98.243.94.83 (talk) 18:47, 31 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge of No Frills Supermarkets into SpartanNash

edit

With only three locations and a few sources, the article does not meet notability guidelines. The small amount of content in the lead can be merged into the article relating to its parent company, SpartanNash. I'll leave this deletion discussion open for one week (until 9 January 2020). Please post any comments or concerns below. Thank you! Daylen (talk) 22:07, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • Sure. I created it largely to distinguish it from the Canadian chain of the same name. Please ensure that readers who are redirected from this article are given a link to the article about the Canadian chain. Thanks. Ground Zero | t 22:38, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
