So, what is it? edit

In one sentence, what is Space Foundation? The answer should be the opening sentence. --Emana (Talk) 19:28, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The answer is in the opening sentence: The Space Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the American space industry through information and education programs.Inputpersona (talk) 22:06, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The current lead says it is global, yet here Inputpersona says it supports the American space industry. Looking at their current web page, it appears to be rooted in Colorado. The article should make all this more clear. Also, we should really have something about its mission and goals, who runs it (officers, incorporation, bylaws, etc) and ideally some hints about where the money comes from. There are a bunch of space interest organizations, and this article, to be useful, should give something about how this one fits into the constellation. As a retired space scientist who might like to attend their Symposium, I notice the meetings are very expensive, which says something about who it is for. Also, anyone editing here who has a position of interest in the organization or its PR outfits, per Wikipedia conflict of interest rules (I confess am thinking of Inputpersona especially), needs to declare themselves before editing further. Relationship with NASA edit

I can't find anything on the NASA website or reliable sources that detail the relationship between NASA and the Space Foundation as described in this article. There are a couple of press releases, but little else. Could someone post some links to help with sourcing? Thanks. Flowanda | Talk 11:27, 30 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because... URLs are used with Space Foundation permission -- if they create a problem, I can delete the URLs causing a problem rather than delete the page which provides valuable non-commercial information) --Inputpersona (talk) 20:30, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
