Basic information to add to this article: what does the "Sov" in Sovtek stand for. Is it "Soviet"? If so, why isn't this mentioned in the current version of the article? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 00:23, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
It might stand for 'Soviet', or it might be a contraction of 'Saratov', were the factory is or was. We should not add either without a reliable source. Verbcatcher (talk) 22:57, 15 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
