Actually, the only part of espn that is in southington is about half of a parking lot. (not realy) (Yes really, first, look at a map of the town of Southington and overlay it with the sat image of the property and you will see that the only part of the ESPN property that is in Southington is the southern tip of the ESPN parking lot. Second, ESPN lists their address on their website as being in the town of Bristol. I see that currently there is no mention of ESPN in the Southington article showing at least somebody else concurs with me. I could find no evidence on the internet that ESPN is officially in Southington. you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.155.172.222 (talk) 08:22, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

merger proposal

edit

To comment on merger proposal of Marion, Connecticut to here. Yes, merge it. There is no sourced material in the Marion neighborhood article, other than the assertion that it includes the Marion Historic District (Cheshire and Southington, Connecticut), which is now (and should remain) a separate article. doncram (talk) 18:28, 23 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

merging of Marion Historic District with Marion

edit

I proposed that Marion Historic District with Marion be merged together until such a time that someone created distinctly unique articles for both. Both are stubs at the moment. People familiar with Southington are invited to participate in the discussion at Talk:Marion, Connecticut. --Polaron | Talk 22:25, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

A couple weeks ago my grandfather had mentioned an old racetrack near the drive in. Im trying to find any historical records of its existence, does anyone have any photos, stories, or anything? 2600:1000:B14C:6C1B:59BA:AA10:107F:A29C (talk) 17:33, 8 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
