Talk:Sotion

= original research? edit

I am glad that this article exists, even as it is. It is all based apparently on ancient sources, which I suppose are actually secondary, since it is not the original Sotion referred to. And I suppose that it is not altogether original research if one considers that the original research was ancient. Are there no modern sources for Sotion? I am thinking that the work 'Paradoxographus, as cited by LSJ, is a different Sotion, Seneca's tutor. (PeacePeace (talk) 01:42, 30 May 2018 (UTC))Reply

Sotion the Pythagorean, teacher of Seneca the Younger, was a different Sotion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Foedera (talkcontribs) 11:46, 3 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
