Talk:Sonoma County landmarks

I have started this page with basic data from the Landmarks Commission, but I have researched and added in the coordinates.

Any updates and corrections are welcome!

I am considering adding columns for a photo, cross references to other designations for these sites and the dates the landmarks were created. The cross references could be to Federal, State, City or E Clampus Vitus recognitions.

This article and its table make finding the sites much easier than anything provided by the County. The automatic mapping feature is great.MikeVdP (talk) 07:46, 1 January 2019 (UTC)

article guidelines

I will suggest that no landmark be removed from the list of active landmarks until the County of Sonoma takes that action. If the landmark is destroyed or damaged, please add a note in the notes column.

I will attempt to get a list of the deleted landmarks. There must be some because there are gaps in the numbers. Much as this is done for National Historic Landmarks, we can add a second table of former landmarks.
