ORDER DEPENDS ON RECORDING DATES - wouldn't it be better by release date?

as stated in title, I believe recording (producing) dates should not be used for chronological ordering of artwork in general (music, films, but also paintings, sculptures) - it is the issue to the public which has relevance.
In movie business, for example, production dates are not relevant, and movies are explicitly dated by release date, as seen in the Wikipedia movie info template on movies's pages. David Be (talk) 15:06, 27 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
