Very important topic, at least as far as people like Lovejoy speculate on the pre-history of trade in Niger and Nigeria. This is so poorly written as to be unintelligible. I would attempt to fix the grammar, punctuation, and syntactical errors except that is it so poorly written that I can't even figure out what the original author is trying to say.
