Talk:Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World

Gap Between 1993 and 2004 edit

The article currently contains this:

In 1993, five years after the original recording, Bertosa played the acoustic version for producer Jon de Mello while the two were completing work on Facing Future, and de Mello decided to include it on the album as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World".[3]

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" reached number 12 on Billboard's Hot Digital Tracks chart the week of January 31, 2004 (for the survey week ending January 18, 2004)

An improvement to the article would be to provide some details covering the period between the recording being released in 1993 and becoming a viral phenomenon years later. EricTN (talk) 05:04, 25 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Is it really a medley? edit

The song contains only lyrics of "Over the Rainbow" sang originally by Judy Garland. I think it should not be called a medley.

The article would be improved if there was some reference to why it's a medley or if this word was not used in here. The only reason I didn't just edit the page is that the song is called a medley a couple of times in here, so I thought a discussion would be a better approach. Also the title does suggest (in my opinion misleadingly) that the song has some lyrics from "What a Wonderful World" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Netizer (talkcontribs) 11:09, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
