name change

I split apart Somerset Island and Fort Ross into this article and Fort Ross, Nunavut. --Rosiestep (talk) 02:34, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Inaccuracy re: occupancy

Somerset Island was occupied by the Idlout family into the 1990s, with the exception of the winter of 1974-75. They lived at Creswell Bay. My family was very close with the Idlouts, and my father wrote this obituary when Timothy Idlout died: http://pubs.aina.ucalgary.ca/arctic/Arctic46-1-96.pdf

The article could stand to be corrected.

Not so much corrected as the island is uninhabited but updated. You should go for it. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 20:56, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
