Current status: Good article

Number? edit

The article describes SoloTürk as an "aerobatic demonstration team", but there appears to be only one aircraft (the article seems unspecific on this point, but the name "solo" might give a further hint). If there is only one, is it correct to call it a team? --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 15:38, 23 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Piledhigheranddeeper There is indeed only one aircraft. I already had small mentions about it in the article ("The development of a one-aircraft aerobatic team started in November 2009" and "SoloTürk uses a General Dynamics F-16C Block 40 aircraft in its demonstration flights"), but I figured a little more clarification in the lead section would be a good thing to add. However, this is still functions as a team. Even though there is only one demonstration aircraft, there are multiple active pilots (sometimes two, sometimes three, currently the latter) and there is even a support aircraft. ~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 17:28, 23 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Nicely done. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 18:31, 23 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

clarification about maneuvers edit

The articles says, "most maneuvers in demonstration flights being special to the team". Does this mean that most of these maneuvers are not done by other aerobatic pilots? Pete unseth (talk) 17:24, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Pete unseth Yes, that's what multiple sources claim. There are also some sources titled "this maneuver is only done by SoloTürk" or close to that. ~StyyxTalk? 15:55, 5 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
