Talk:Solemn League and Covenant

Untitled edit

"The Scottish Covenants persuaded the exiled Charles II of England..." is a confused and confusing description. Firstly, 'Charles II of England' was also 'Charles II, King of Scots' - but (as of 1650) uncrowned and only king de jure (because his father Charles I had had his head chopped off). —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cousteau69 (talkcontribs) 07:29, 22 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

What is it about? edit

The introduction should summarize the nature of the league and what the agreement was about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.63.31.25 (talk) 10:34, 3 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
