Orphaned references in Sol Invictus (Faith No More album)

edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sol Invictus (Faith No More album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "facebook.com":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 09:50, 2 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

“Patton drops slap bass”?

edit

Is that meant seriosly: “On Sol Invictus, Patton drops the slap bass and rap techniques of prior releases, instead utilizing middle-range vocals.”? If any, this refers to FNM altogether, because Patton does not play bass in FNM. I'd like to change that replacing Patton by FNM. (Btw, this is a very uninformed statement, since FNM dropped slap bass techniques at King for a Day... and rapping at Angel Dust. And the source's claim that Rise of the Fall has a ska element is ridiculous. I don't know how to call the style of this song, but it is in no way ska.)--Einar Moses Wohltun (talk) 13:58, 18 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Well, all these years later and that rubbish is still there. I'd prefer to just get rid of the entire 'style' section altogether, but that's just meRobbmonster (talk) 04:48, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
