Clarification required edit
I've just done a tidy-up, but am now concerned that I may have inadvertantly mis-represented the way in which "decile" works by removing the text "whereas decile 10 schools are the 10% of schools with the lowest proportion of these [poor] students...". In particular this page [1] says "...A school's decile does not indicate the overall socio-economic mix of the school...". Is it true, as that page seems to suggest, that a Decile 10 school is one with no pupils from the poorest - but could be 100% of the nearly-poorest? Snori (talk) 00:01, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
Incorrect use of the term "decile". edit
The authors do not know understand the term they used in the article. "The decile 10" has non sense. Theoretically, 10-th decile is the same as the maximum. 85.64.245.144 (talk) 13:36, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
