There was a discussion about merging Category:1899 establishments in Albania at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2016_March_26#1899_establishments_in_Albania, which was closed with no consensus.

This article should therefore remain within that category. – Fayenatic London 13:15, 10 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Technically, it could probably also be removed from Category:1899 establishments in the Ottoman Empire, since Category:1899 establishments in Albania is a subcategory of that. Good Ol’factory (talk) 01:27, 11 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Too big of a Unity (Bashkimi) edit

It seems to me that this article merges together all kind of associations named Bashkimi in the early 20th century: the cultural association founded by Doçi in 1899 in Shkodër, the patriotic society in Bucharest around 1901 that indeed emerged by unifying three previous societies of the diaspora in Romania, and finally the Bashkimi created in 1908 in Constantinople after the Young Turk revolution. All the three were named Bashkimi indeed (as was another patriotic club in Janina, and another in Cairo founded in 1910). I think it is misleading that all these entities are not clearly distinguished and all are detailed under the title Society for the Unity of the albanian Language which solely applies to the association founded in Shkodër.
