Bhain mé amach an t-alt seo a leanas mar nach bhfuil sé cruinn beacht:
"It was founded on 29 December 1876 by Douglas Hyde and Count Plunkett[1][2] Unlike similar organisations of the time, which were antiquarian in nature, the SPIL aimed at protecting the status of the Irish language, which was threatened with extinction at the time.[3] " Ériugena (talk) 17:56, 5 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Ériugena: you wrote "Douglas Hyde wrote in 1937 the following". I'm guessing that that refers to Mise agus an Connradh (go dtí 1905). Can you confirm that, and tell us the page number, so that the content can be properly referenced? I have restored some relevant content that you removed, and edited down the content you added.
