Annual conference locations edit

I am adding a list of annual conference locations, beginning with most current and working backward. That will be a start. Perhaps I'll follow with a list of previous presidents of the society. I'd like to see others work on this a well! Mybvega (talk) 23:35, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I copied and pasted the SAA's mission statement from their webpage. It is in quotes, but I am not sure how to reference it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mybvega (talk) 02:44, 5 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

I summarized the mission statement instead because the statement is from a copyrighted webpage (www.saa.org) and there is no GFDL-compatible license as far as I know. I hope this is appropriate, but not sure. Also, would like to add an image of the SAA logo, but I think copyright is also an issue. Mybvega (talk) 03:18, 5 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Possible reference in Popular Culture edit

In the Emma Fielding mysteries on the "Hallmark Movies and Mysteries" channel, one of the movies had an "Association for the Study of American Archaeology" or "ASAA."

I think this could be a reference to the SAA.

Is this "important" enough to possibly be somehow included in the article?

Just a thought. 2600:8800:784:8F00:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 04:29, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
