I decided that this term has meaning distinct from the sum of its parts, (e.g. it is not used to describe a model of architecture), and that its users in various disciplines would benefit from a separate article, from which interdisciplinary may grow. I think Friedland's quote on its own gives enough justification for why it is important to define, hence the new article. Any assistance appreciated.
