This looks like someone's essay cut-and-pasted including their "Personal conclusion" and starting statements with "I". This should either be deleted or totally rewritten. Qutezuce 07:22, 19 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've made some attempt to improve it a bit, although I agree this is a terrible article, the only reason that I don't list it on AFD at once is because the topic is important and does merit an article, but one a lot better than this Astaroth5 14:16, 6 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article needs to include more referencing of research studies, and some of the statements are not based on data at all. -- Postdoctoral Scholar —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.195.3.100 (talk) 14:49, 13 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Info re: prevalence of obesity

edit

@Jonchache: I am unclear how "The study stated that in the last 20 years (1990-2010), the prevalence of obesity in Australia has more than doubled." is related to the topic of "Sedentary behaviour" with respect to social influences. Can you clarify? Thanks! ParticipantObserver (talk) 14:34, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

It looked to tie the article into the topic of the main subject. Jonchache (talk) 14:39, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Huh. I can see that... it's kind of bridging the two other sentences. OK, thanks! ParticipantObserver (talk) 15:14, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

New section

Im writing a section for class about the effects of social media. I am thinking about adding the positive and negative effects of social media use in fitness. Would something like this belong in this page. Gcordova1 (talk) 18:41, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
