editI think Image:Seattle - Smith Cove from Betty Bowen Viewpoint.jpg is probably a better image than Image:Seattle-Columbia-look-north-2319.jpg currently in the article. Replace? - Jmabel | Talk 18:49, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

- Joe, I trust your judgment on the matter - you certainly have a better knowledge of Seattle geography. (Also, if there are several pictures that show the place, maybe you can create a Wiki Commons category for them). Vmenkov (talk) 22:46, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- So far we only have the two. But, sure, might as well get a category, worth having more in the future. Wonder if we can find some from a century or so ago, they should be out there. - Jmabel | Talk 07:12, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- I ended up using both images, even if that's a bit much for this short an article. They each show different aspects, and both show important aspects. - Jmabel | Talk 07:24, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Map needed
editThis is one of those articles (and there are many) that would be greatly enhanced by a map showing what it is that the article is talking about. Not all of us are intimately familiar with the maritime geography of the Seattle area, but would like to understand the discussion better. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 17:08, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
