Place names edit

What do the place names have to do with the Slovenian alphabet? Unless there's a reason for it, I'll remove them from the page a week from this posting. If you feel there's a reason to keep it, please say so in this time Guifa 06:11, 3 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agree, actually I removed names once ... --AndrejJ 08:31, 3 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Digraphs edit

Why aren't anywere mentioned Slovenian digraphs lj and nj which represent sounds [ʎ] (lj) and [ɲ] (nj) as also digraph dž []? I think they must be included into Slovenian alphabet as being distinct phonemes. As being Latvian I'd suggest also Slovenians to take from Latvian ļ and ņ characters to represent lj and nj, which fit more to Internet style not for handwriting. For example, Ļubļana (Ljubljana). • I'm Slovene and I know that Slovene doesm't have sounds ʎ and ɲ. In Slovene, Lj and Nj are spelled lj nj, as oppostie from Serbo-Croatian languages. While dž appears only in borrowings. 89.212.104.155 (talk) 21:42, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

∫ or ʃ ? edit

Which of the two symbols was used to represent š? Currently the article uses the integral symbol . To me that's a mathematical symbol, not a letter, and the proper letter would be the letter esh ʃ. —Tasnu Arakun (talk) 13:29, 9 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

History edit

What about Primož Trubar, and his Abecedarium (1550)? How was Slovenian written by Trubar, and what was changed later?
