its history
editslopestyle is used by other sports long before snowboards wipers have start. look to the skaters...
1620
edita 1620 spin was first made in a competition by the swedish skier Henrik Harlaut in 2008 in the swiss competition MOPA Invitational. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtdLr7msAVk for video and more links about it.
in the article it says that TJ shiller did the 1620 first(in 2010) which is also untrue. TJ shiller did the first DOUBLE CORK 1620. which is 4½ rotations horizontally PLUS 2 corks, very impressive trick but as said earlier, he wasnt the first to do 4½.
Big Jump
editFURTHERMORE, neither the TJ shiller dub1620 nor Henrik Harlauts 1620 was done in a slopestyle event, both were from Big Jump events. I dont know what is the biggest spin in a Slopestyle event nut well, until someone or you does, remove the inaccurate info. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.226.118.9 (talk) 21:02, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Rules
editSome explanation of how the runs are judged is needed. It is not evident why touching the ground with one's hand on landing to avoid falling does not lead to a significant deduction from the score. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 176.63.77.11 (talk) 10:03, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
