Sir George Thomas, 7th BaronetSir George Thomas – A more concise and natural title than including the "7th Baronet" part of the name, and more in line with WP:COMMONNAME as "Sir George Thomas" is how this person is referred to in most sources such as in the National Batminton Museum and this article from the BWF. However, many chess sources such as Chessgames refer to him as "Sir George Alan Thomas" or simply "George Alan Thomas" but I think Sir George Thomas is sufficiently precise. • Oppose. See WP:BARONET. This is our very clear and long-established naming convention. Not to mention the fact that there are at least two other people called Sir George Thomas! -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:18, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment Sorry! I was not aware of WP:BARONET or the other Sir George Thomases. I'll be sure to look more carefully next time. Withdrawing nomination. Qwaiiplayer (talk) 12:28, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
