Father?

edit

Didn't he originally do programs with his father? Rojomoke 19:36, 20 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I certainly agree that this article could say more about how his father, John, was a wildlife film maker. John worked for the BBC, and the young Simon was invited to audition for a nature documentary, "The Fox" in 1973. He made a brief appearance in the children's nature series, "Animal Magic", and he was introduced to David Attenborough when he was only seven. When, for his fourteenth birthday, he was given a Super-8 camera, Simon King took it along to film life in the local pond. This information appeared on pp18-19 of the "The Radio Times" for June 14-20, 2008. Any one who bought the Radio Times for that week will have noticed how King was its cover celebrity, appearing on its front cover. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 21:25, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
