The following comment was added to the article. I moved it here

If you read The Frontiersman it will tell you that Simon Kenton didn't steal the cannon but that he and his partner tipped over the canoe carrying the cannon across the Ohio River on Birds march out of the Kentucky lands, next time read the book before commenting on it being legit or not.

Eckert edit

It it wasn't for Eckert hardly anyone would know of this history, but everyobody likes to take their jabs at him because a few facts might be jumbled. There's bound to be some discrepancies in a work like the Frontiersmen, but to focus on them strikes me as petty.

Another Image edit

Here's a picture of a wood engraving of Simon Kenton rescuing Daniel Boone. I took a picture of it to put in this article, but now that I look at the article, I'm not sure where to fit it. Use it if you'd like. Mingusboodle (talk) 23:54, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello I'm new at all of this, but my husband, John Foster Parsell is related to Simon Kenton through his second wife. Do you have information about her and her descendents? Foster's mother was Tempa Kenton Parsell and Tempa's mother's family was named McClung.
