Rationale: Article topic is for the television show, not the family. The star of the show, Joseph Simmons (co-founder of rap group Run-D.M.C. and brother of Russel Simmons), has an article related to his career and an appropriate section for his personal life (including family). Merger with his article would reduce its relevancy. The lengthy Family section eats up most of the article; there is a subsection for each member of the family. Most of these are unreferenced biographical "blurbs" for the children. Some are written like publicity releases and others are irrelevant/unnecessary. Few of the family members meet notability guidelines for their own article; the bios don't belong on this page. A couple of the children have their own articles. I believe these bio subsections should be transformed into a concise list, moved to a more appropriate article such as this one, or perhaps deleted altogether (they are already listed in the infobox). bllix (talk) 11:36, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
