If someone wants to propose a move to Simien Mountains, please do so. Canis simensis, commonly known as the Simien fox or Simien jackal^[1] in the Simien Mountains of Ethiopia

If you examine most of the citations in this article you will see that most of the English language ones use Simien rather than Semien for these mountains.

Semien really only comes about since it is the more usual transliteration from local languages such as Amharic.

Although scientists debate which canids are wolf species versus subspecies, the traditional view is that there are three wolf species in the world — the Ethiopian, red, and grey wolf.
