Talk:Simi Linton

This article had (and has) a significant amount of WP:PROMOTION going on, with extensive external links (many going to obsolete websites) and original research. The edit history looks like it was created by the subject herself and edited extensively by either the subject or someone very close to the subject. I took a good stab at the article but it still needs more work. Rather than remove huge chunks of the article, I mostly removed external links, cleaned up citations, and tagged many others. Most of the citations are primary sources and though it is clear to me that Linton should easily pass muster for notability, the article is lacking in good secondary sources discussing Linton. For example, this would be good to include in the article: Dr. Simi Linton Delivers 2016 Rudin Lecture to Standing-Room-Only Audience. Maybe another editor taking a fresh look at this article can weave it in while they excise all the primary source stuff. Platonk (talk) 09:51, 19 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
