 – Discussion petered out, and article has been stable on this issue for over a year.

...if you dont get it, than forget about it and get on with your life. this is not a movie for un-imaginative closed minded people. Its exactly as some else stated...the movie doesnt explain alot...this is a modern movie to get those questions, thoughts of confusion and wonder rolling in your head. So for those people who are not willing to use their brain and need everything handed to them...this is not a movie for you and need not to worry yourself about what happened...you will never get it....!!!(Tinymeggers (talk) 20:35, 20 February 2009 (UTC))

Just because whoever it is that keeps changing the plot to 'mysterious girl' doesn't get the movie, doesn't mean it isn't a stated fact that Dark Alessa is the dark side of Alessa and Alessa has been reborn. If you can find a part of the film that names a character "Dark Alessa," or which declares explicitly what happens at the film's conclusion, please do so. Until then, all you have is speculation, not facts. 99.174.233.4 (talk) 06:50, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

If it's just the name (despite that the name Dark Alessa is used on the official site and in literally dozens of interviews with cast and crew) tha tyou have an issue with you, who cares? She outright states in the course of the film that she is the dark part of Alessa, which makes it quite clear that Alessa is reborn at the end. Added: Sorry, but personal interpretation isn't involved when only pure facts spoken by one of the major actresses and the director are being added. Not to mention that she outright states who she is. "I'm the dark part of Alessa". It's simply not personal interpretation when it comes directly from the director himself. Wikipedia allows for secondary sources to be included and these quotes affirming who Dark Alessa is as well as her name fall under the category of secondary sources. I've edited down to just including the evidence seen in the movie ("I'm the dark part of Alessa"), but I would much rather add references, so long as I don't know for certain that it'll all be erased the next time I log in.AlessaGillespie (talk) 05:13, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
