This page should not be speedily deleted because... I guess I don't get why this needs to be deleted. If anyone is researching in depth about John Wilkes Booth's contact with others that night and what he did to get away, I would want to see this to know that he narrowly got caught (or alteast slowed). And it is just one of those cool, interesting instances. Now, I know it is supposed to be about Silas T. Cobb, and this is all I could find out about him.--Jcfrommn (talk) 05:48, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

All you could find out about him because this is probably all there is of any interest. Does not merit own article: seeWP:ONEEVENT.TheLongTone (talk) 08:43, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Lincoln assassination conspiracy sites seem to think he drown in Grand Haven, Michigan, in November of 1867. I haven't been able to find a source for that I'd consider reliable, but it may help in the searching. Ditto that he was probably from Holliston, Mass. WilyD 11:53, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
