Sift is a rock band that formed in the early 1990s in Boston - an amalgamation of members from other local bands such as Speeny Bowl Wagon, Liquid State and Jerkwater. The members are now split between Massachusetts and North Carolina, but they continue to write, record and perform live. Their latest album, The Desperate Hope, was released in November 2005. Other releases include:

- Rains for Tyler (2002)
