I know all the conventional histories suggest that SN were the first to brew a fresh-hop beer in the US (in 1996), but this Michael Jackson article from 1993 suggests that there was already a brewery on the West Coast doing such a beer at that time. Presumably it's one of the ones that failed so no records exist, but I think MJ is probably a reliable enough source to question those conventional histories. 92.20.123.28 (talk) 17:01, 14 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
